I got to Springfield early enough to walk over from the Hampton and walk the Gupton lot for a few minutes before sunset. A few observations:

• It's not a large lot. The Lowe's next door has a parking lot that is at least twice the size of Gupton's entire place
• I think every Wrangler on the lot was a customer order, with someone's name on the window sticker. Most of the Gladiators were too
• On the lot right now, there are only two 2-door JLs, the rest are 4-doors.
• A rough guesstimate is that about a third of the Wranglers on the lot right now are 4xe models, about evenly split between Saharas and Rubicons
• Probably about half of all the Wranglers are Rubicons (including one of the 2-doors). I could count the Willys on one hand, and only one or two Saharas that were not 4xe
• I only noticed a few manuals, although I didn't look through all the windows

It was after-hours when I arrived (and got to meet forum member hoag4147 ), and there was a truck on the side of the highway out front with another load:

Might be my Sting Gray 4xE Sahara. Pizza tracker shows built and no ship date. It’s clearly hiding out with Carmen San Diego right now. Enjoy the new rides! Looking forward to making the trip soon as well.

I went from “shipped” last week back to “ready to ship” and as of today my delivery date got pushed back several weeks to 7/26. Sigh. Driving my daughter’s MINI, it feels like a clown car. Congrats to all getting their Jeep hope mine delivers soon.
