On mine, ordered 08-30-21 and picked up from dealer on 10-30-21, they just deleted the mats...no questions asked.
Do you mean they took it upon themselves to remove that option so your order wouldn’t be delayed? If so that’s awesome.

Thanks guys! After my comment here I started reading more pages back on this thread and see the amount of people going through the same thing. Sheesh.

Idk HOW this happened but on Friday they told me the jeep still wasn't built and pending production. Also on Friday I sent my dealership an email saying I was thinking of canceling cause I couldn't wait anymore so what were my options. WELL LOW AND BEHOLD TODAY I received an email that my Jeep was built and in transit to the dealership....They sent me the Stellaris tracker with the transit delivery dates. It's either my threatening to cancel lit a fire in Toledo's asses or was a coincidence.
It was built and released for shipment. It has not shipped yet

Oh totally, I would‘t think they would make a drastic configuration change like that without consulting the buyer? A friend of mine had been waiting on Ford order and the dealership contacted him about tweaking the build to help with delivery time. I guess I’d never heard of Jeep doing that.

When we built my Jeep floor mats came up with a warning message stating delivery time could be impacted if chosen.

My 21 hasn’t even been started yet. Forget shipping and logistics. I’m starting to think that Jeep just doesn’t want to build certain models.
Guessing at this point they may just bump it to a 22. I have seen a few others that were. Hopefully 21s moved to 22s should be first in production.

Let's use our rational brains here. Jeep wants to make as many Wranglers as people will give them money for, and knows how to make hundreds of thousands per year, given the opportunity. There are quite clearly external factors that are at play here that are holding up some trucks.
I agree with this. There must be something in the build that is not available.

Yes, that is what they did and I had no problem with that since I got the thing exactly 8 weeks after order date...picked up Weathertech mats which I really like because they are shaped like a bucket and will keep in the mud, etc...a bit more expensive than mats but worth it I think.
