Honestly, I feel vehicle value guarantees the highest priority. I ordered a Willys Sport EcoDiesel with a tow package on August 30th, but I regularly see people who ordered fully optioned Rubi's, Sahara's, 392's, 4xe's who ordered in October, getting there's faster than me. One would think the Willys Sport with it's crank windows wouldn't need as many microchips, but I guess those aren't in short supply???? Why else would fully speced out Rubi's be coming off the line faster. Mines only $43,000 clearly not a priority. ?
Makes NO sense whatsoever! Clearly, you should've received yours by now. In my case I ordered a 2022 Wrangler Unlimited Willys knowing they weren't being built until 12/6, and have no expectations of receiving it until late February or March, but at this rate I'm not sure the 12/6 date is even feasible. They need to get in gear and get the 2021's finished and delivered PDQ or it'll be summer before the 2022's are started!!

9/28 - Ordered
9/28 - Dealer gave VON via order sheet (dealer initiative)
10/1 - VIN (Jeep Chat)
10/4: Dealer gave VIN (my initiative)
10/13: Dealer email (my initiative) "Your Jeep is in D1 status meaning it's scheduled for production and has an estimated shipping date to leave the factory. ETA to leave the factory is 10/21. Not until we start seeing it go through the production stages will we get a better ETA when it will leave."
10/19: Cryptostickers found a build sheet.
10/25: Pulled build sheet using this link. Also got the ETA from dealer of 11/4 to arrive off the rail in Utah. Appraisal process for trade in starts when it gets off rail. (my initiative)
11/4: Update from dealer of 11/5 off the rail (my initiative)
11/5: Email from the dealer that it's off the train. Sent me a link to the dealership credit app. They do not have any bows... Emailed back and forth UNTIL my credit app got sent, then no response to email or a phone call. THIS is my problem with Kent. My wife talks me down and reminds me he obviously just got rigs in. Let him do his job.
Hey I have an order waiting aswell. Im still waiting for my vin after ordering it a month ago. Did you say you went onto Jeep chat and they were able to provide you information or your order? Vin etc..

I don't think that is it. My wife ordered a JLUR, with many (but not all) options, just like I did mine. So. hers was about $20k more. Yet, it's been 66 days now and still in D status. Frustrating.

Yup!

As I put in my timeline, just about all the interactions with my dealership were initiated by myself, which is super sad in my mind. After retirement I want to become a part of that team and fix that, if it's not fixed in 4 years lol

My Jeep is now off the train and has been sitting in Jersey for the last week. Next stop is my dealer in NY. Talked to the dealer they said they tagged it so it should be here shortly. Anyone have experience with this before?

At this point, won't they move you to a 2022? Mine was placed as a 2021, but the VIN shows a 2022 now. I think a lot of it comes down to the configuration. We ordered the Sky One Touch top, and the Jeep Chat rep told me that she's seeing most of those sitting in a Scheduling status, so I suspect there's an issue with parts for the top. I try to remind myself of the bright side that the longer it takes, the more I save up in car payments I'm not making. May not be logical or rational, but I'm trying everything at this point to keep the impatience at bay.
I ordered a JLU Sport S on 8/27 and am still told by Jeep Chat they are still gathering parts. I also ordered the Sky One Touch Top. This is what must be holding up the build

I also ordered the Sky One Touch top and was wondering the same thing. I ordered 9/24.

I'm losing confidence that I'm going to have a 2021 built. I have a $1500 Private Bonus Cash Allowance on a 2021 that i doubt they will honor on a 2022

As we went to stalk the dealership lot, we see a bunch of new inventory, especially 4xes, including this one, which thanks for FB I know the orderer can't buy. It will be up for sale on Peterson's soon. My wife talks me down and reminds me he obviously just got rigs in. Let him do his job.
11/8: Update from JC. LOL This is how broken the JC is. I know it's off the rail in Utah, I moreso wanted to see what they'd say.
"Rodger, I can see your order has been released from the factory and was approved for shipping. Shipping arrangements have not been completed yet but it should be leaving soon! I do not see an updated shipping ETA, I recommend contacting us in a week for a better update"
11/9: Dealer initiated trade-in appraisal process. They asked me to use KBB, through their site. Then I went and shopped around online.
KBB: $49,242
Vroom: $51,126
Carvana: $38,714

just checked in with my dealer today and was told I hit D status and was given a VIN number. I understand that I could be in D a status for months potentially, but excited none the less! Hoping they’re focused on clearing their ‘21 backlog before starting their ‘22 production.
ordered 8/19, picked up 11/4. First Jeep, super excited!

I ordered a Wrangler Unlimited Sport on August 3rd. Only options were Hydro Blue, tan seats, Hard Top roof w/tinting, limited slip differential, 2.0, automatic... very basic. It was in D1 by the end of August. The sales woman that I worked with is now out of sales, and the new sales woman that I'm working with told me a couple of weeks ago that the ship date was 11/9... today (11/10) she told me my Jeep entered painting this morning and the ship date was pushed back to (11/11)... that doesn't seem right. If it's paint this morning, doesn't it need time to cure, and then they assemble everything? Can they really ship it out tomorrow?

I've never had a vehicle ordered, so this is a new experience for me.

Assuming she was right about being painted today, do you guys have any guesses when it will be completed and then shipped? And any ballpark estimates on when I can pick it up? I'm in Milwaukee, Toledo is only 5-1/2 hours away.

I'm curious more than anything. I understand all the shortages and possible railyard delays, etc.

The paint is baked, the whole process is about 2 hours, then about 9 hours for assembly. whole build is done in a day.
