Picked the Willys two door Sport up yesterday morning.Eleven weeks to the day from the initial order.Overall experience has been good.Jeep Chat was helpful and for the most part accurate.First impressions.......Build quality seems to be good.Dealer prep was good.Having owned two Wranglers years ago.....this one seems larger....inside and out.I have heard some complain about the seats ,but mine seem perfectly fine to me.Plenty of adjustment. The driving experience was different than I recall.....not bad, but different. The steering does have a different feel from the others. It does require a lot of minor input from the driver.I did discover the more I drove yesterday, the less I noticed the different feel. The ride was ....MUCH... better than my other two Jeeps.Mine has the BFG tires... while you can hear and feel them on the road....it is not bad, better than I expected for a mud tire.I spent the afternoon installing the growing pile of parts I have laying in the shop.Well ....that was my long awaited first day.I hope all that are waiting get THE call from the dealer. Have a great day!

Ordered a JLU Sahara sting gray 2.0 with only premium sound, proximity, and remote start added.
Ordered 10/7
VIN 10/12
Reached out to Jeep chat yesterday (10/18) and was told that it was still in the order stage waiting on parts.
This morning was contacted by my dealer that the estimated ship date was 10/26! He said that it was the quickest he had seen one go through, granted the ship date could change. He also said a Rubicon he ordered on 10/14 though still had not gotten a VIN number. Maybe I was just super lucky and got it right before the cut off date. It seems like they are pushing Jeeps through quickly as I see some people who ordered earlier in 2021 are finally getting their jeeps as well as people who ordered their's in early September so maybe Jeep is one of the only manufacturers actually putting out consistent production.
I also should add I didn't go with the gorilla glass which there seems to be delay on. Also didn't opt in for floor mats.
This is my first post and I'm excited to be a part of the Jeep cult now!
Not on crypto yet, but just checked the build sheet manually and I have a Build Sheet!
Ordered: 10/7
VIN 10/12
Given estimated ship date of (10/26) on 10/19 from dealer
Build Sheet 10/28
Not too much to complain about! Seems like they are almost caught up on those 10-12 week orders

Right after I posted this, my dealer texted me and told me it was finished and waiting to be shipped. Hotty toddy now we wait in shipment until somehow theres enough to get to small town in south Mississippi. Anybody know how the shipments work? I would assume it would take longer in those smaller southern areas but also are they able to piggy back off of Gupton's sales and get quicker shipping?

Well I'm at 7 weeks now and still no status change since week 1, just waiting for parts so that build can be scheduled. A CSR on chat opened a ticket and a Brand Mentor contacted me to tell me the exact same thing that chat keeps telling me. No end in sight, no change in status *sigh*.

That last bit is the worst of it all, at least you’re 30 miles away from the Cottage Grove rail yard, I was around 6. Let’s just say the guards there don’t like people driving by and looking in trying to see your vehicle. A few times. Doesn’t go well for anyone, lol!!!

Mine took almost 2 weeks to go from CG to the dealership, would have been longer but I raised hell about it.
Don't say like that!!! The 30 miles I mentioned is from the railyard to the dealer. Luckily I'm another 25 miles West of there. 50+ miles would be a long way to get a peak at it from a couple hundred yards. I hope I don't have to wait two more weeks!!!

Yeah, sorry, I hate being the downer but if I was told the “truth” from the get go I probably wouldn’t have had so much anxiety about it!!!! I still got my Jeep in the 6-8 weeks I was quoted but didn’t realize almost 5 of those weeks would be it getting from Toledo to Minneapolis……….with 2 of them from Cottage Grove to Roseville…………and I honestly think had I not bitched about yet another great fall weekend without the Jeep after they’d told me I’d have it it’d have sat another week……..

Wow, 5 weeks in "Shipping" would be excruciating!! I was initially told 8-12 weeks. Tomorrow will be 10 weeks. I can't complain too much, especially after seeing what some of those on here have had to go through. What makes it worse is I sold my JK about a month ago now so I have been more or less stuck at home.

Got an updated dealer ETA from Jeep Chat yesterday. ETA now between today and 11/1. Hoping to hear from the dealer today!

How are you getting a dealer ETA from Jeep chat. They just keep telling me to ask my dealer

If you have the VON (along with date, make and model) or better yet, last 8 of the VIN, Jeep chat can give you updates on the status. Also, I think it needs to have your name and address on the actual order for them to release it. Seems like most of the time they asked to confirm you are the person that ordered it. If your dealer didn't put your name on it, or you made a deal on one already ordered by the dealership, then it's possible Jeep chat won't give you an update (this happened to me with my current JKU which was dealer ordered before I decided to buy it, so my name/address wasn't on it and JC wouldn't give me info).

That makes sense, thanks for the explanation!

Yeah maybe I'm just not bothering them enough or my name isn't on it. I give them the VIN and my info that they ask for, they'll give me the status but will not give an ETA. It's in the KZ status right now and maybe an ETA hasn't been assigned yet.

9/16 - Ordered my Sarge Green JLURD. I had hoped to get it before Veteran’s Day.
9/16 - VON
9/19 - VIN and D
10/14 – D1, probably earlier
10/21 - Build sheet
10/28 - Window Sticker.
10./28 – Rec’d notice that my Jeep arrived at dealer. Yep, same day!

Now my wife ordered a gas aspirated JLUR, TWELVE days before I ordered mine. It’s been interesting, and very disappointing, to watch the movement on mine and not hers. Looking at the differences between our builds compared to those build sheets that have been done for Wranglers after she ordered hers..well, I can find no rhyme or reason. Here what I thought it was, but it is not:

- Steel bumpers? She ordered steel bumpers. I did not. But I’ve seen builds with steel bumpers on JLURs that were ordered subsequent to hers. So that’s not it.

- Floor mats? Nope, not that either. Neither of us could even order them.

- Advanced Tech group? Both of us ordered it and I’ve seen JLUR builds after her order with it.

As close as I can figure is that it was the MOPAR Perforated Leather Black Seats (“MPLBS”). I’ve looked at maybe 50 builds over the last 24 hours and I’ve only seen one build with MPLBS on their build….mine! Has Jeep forsaken the concept of a queue? She should have gotten MPLBS before me because she ordered her JLUR almost two weeks before me. It’s now been 8 weeks today and her Jeep is still in D status.

BTW, I’m not picking my JLURD up right away…yep, that’s right. If I picked it up today, they’d have to pull our credit. I’m not worried about that, but that report is only good for 30 days. If hers does not arrive until December, then they’d have to pull our credit again…which hurts our credit.

So here are my questions:

- Has anyone else ordered MPLBS? If so, did your get your build sheet within 8 weeks?
- Must all 2021 orders be built and delivered by December 5?

I had the steel bumpers on my order but was told they were restricted and my build could be delayed so I removed them. This doesn't appear to be the case anymore. We have a friend that ordered a JLURD a few days before I ordered my JLUR and he is still waiting and I picked mine up a week ago. There is no rhyme or reason it seems. Also, just an FYI if it's helpful to you at all I went with USAA for my loan and they will hold your approval and credit check for 45 days. Their rates are super low.

Thanks for the intel on USAA. We've looked into USAA on prior loans, but we didn't need them to hold approval for 45 days before so USAA is looking a bit better. It may indeed be helpful.

I placed my order on 8/7 which included the stitched leather MOPAR seats. My estimated delivery date is 11/3 - 11/10 so it will be approx 13 weeks for me.
