When he printed off the order forms for me to sign for the order the system kicked out a est date.
Ah gotcha. Mine didn’t. I don’t think 1baddad did either, as he got the est build date on 10/5

You won't see the build sheet until it's being built. Window sticker when it goes to shipping.
If u look up mine same as forum name. I have a windowsticker according to it (which doesn't work anywhere from the other links) but no build sheet. Yet my dealer has a shipping date if Oct 13th. Which he got a week after he gave me the fine

So I'll still check it everyday but I don't have faith in it.

JC has given me ETA ranges for a Wrangler Rubicon 4xe I ordered, but I never did get an email or other kind of notification. Isn't that part of the process? If one isn't doing Jeep Chat every few days, when would one ordinarily get notified about landmarks in the build process. Not until it is delivered to the dealership?

I am now, thankfully, "in the shipping stage", but JC was not able to say if it had left the factory lot, or was in transit, or anything. how are people getting this detailed kind of information?

My dealer. They have access to the same info as jeep chat.

If yours won't do it they are just being lazy. Which most are.

You should never have to do anything. Your dealer should update you at every significant change.

Dealer has been unable or unwilling to find details. Whatever the reason, it leaves me to search for other clues.

Should a custom ordered vehicle show up on Jeep Inventory Search as "in-transit" to the dealer once it leaves the factory? Or is that not a reliable indicator?

A very similar (but clearly different, per the window sticker) vehicle looks like it is "in transit" to the dealership. Does the fact that my vehicle isn't in Inventory search there mean it is still in Toledo?

Go into your dealer if you think they are being unable. Let him show you the screen they use. It's not secret squirrel stuff. If he doesn't then they are a bad dealership

Good dealers have nothing to hide

So, it's been a couple of days. How did you make out? Anything decided yet?
So this experience went completely off the rails the other day. I was at the dealership looking at other vehicles, still upset and happened to look in their hold lot and saw a JLURD in Snazzberry sitting there. I asked the salesman about it and he said it just arrived this morning(Friday). He said it was a custom order and was already sold. While he was inside getting the keys for a 392 I moseyed over to the Jeep and looked at the Vin. IT WAS MY JEEP. I checked the window sticker and low and behold there was my name at the top. The salesman came back out and walked up to me and I told him it was mine. He said that was impossible. He checked the VIN and saw my name. The owner and manager apologized for the confusion, gave me 10 off invoice and a lifetime warranty and I took delivery Saturday. In the end it all worked out.

Good for you but whoever they thought yours was for must be the rightful owner of the one they sold the first time.

I just received a nice update from Jeep escalation, that my parts have finally been received with the message " We show your order presently has an estimated production plan timing for either the week of October 4th or the week of October 11th".

I take this to mean I am in D1 stage - at least that is progress. I'm hopefully to get delivery before Thanksgiving which would put me at 4 months, ugh. it is what it is. Makes me wonder if the escalation helped and what would have happened if Jeep Chat didn't get my situation escalated last week.

Weird thing is that my build does not show up in cryptostickers as found at all. Guess I am one of the outliers :)

have a nice weekend all!
Brief update, I received today an email from cryptostickers that both build and sticker were found ?. Havent heard from Jeep/ Stellantis yet, but I am hoping this means my Jeep has been built, fingers crossed that delivery is I’m sight…
