I ordered from Chapman in PA, not sure if they are a high volume dealership. Pre Covid in 2018 I ordered a JLUSahara and it came in 3-4weeks

I ordered a very similar JLU Sahara EcoDiesel on August 9th, and I have a VIN and VON, no other info yet.

Well, we’re in the system - that’s good news. Got VIN yesterday, a day after the order was placed. Now the waiting game.

How I wish they were doing factory tours these days. Sure would be a hoot seeing it going down the production line when the time comes.

Does anyone have a dealer who is showing zero enthusiasm for your Wrangler order? My ETA to dealer is 8/28-9/6 and I found this out using Jeep Chat. He never reaches out & I kinda expected more ??‍?

Mine was great at the beginning and would usually get back to me within minutes or so but now I cant seem to get him to answer me. Not sure if its that I bugged him enough (usually once a week if that) or its been almost 10 weeks since I ordered. But I have to say he is yet to actually reach out with info, I have had to ask everytime and this entire time the status has not changed from week 1 to 10 thru him vs what JC and Cust serv state

I have contemplated cancelling my ordering and traveling out of state to purchase for this very reason. I missed a purchase 65 miles from my house for exactly what I wanted due to loyalty to my dealer but question that now. Only response I have got from him since inception of order is be patient you just ordered that thing! All other information was thru Jeep chat or Jeep service. The only one I find close to what I want is snazzberry. Just not sure about that color.

I've wondered the same. I got a Willy's, that package comes with the LED lights. (A MUST) because the regular headlights are like driving around with two candles. I heard from a friend who purchased a Gladiator in June and ordered LED lights from the dealership to be installed later, they are backordered until December! Apparently something about switching vendors or something. I also wanted the safety package. Yes, I want the little blind spot indicator. So I was wondering if that was holding them up. THEN, I saw a dealership get a Gecko green with exactly what I wanted on mine, and this was on Aug 2nd. Also a couple others in the forum here who ordered Willy's both before and after me and thought WTF?! So who knows what the real reason is at this point. I am only days away from throwing in the towel, getting my deposit back and going to the dealership that has an 80th anniversary fully loaded black one on the lot. Its been sitting there for over a month. Not my Hydro Blue I ordered or want but, I'd probably settle, because I am getting tired of the run around BS answers.

Were the Willys that you saw delivered Sports? The Willys Sports don’t have LED lights, power windows or door locks so they have less electronics. PS Watch your autocorrect is changing Willys to Willy’s.

Color is fire in my opinion, but I ordered it so I guess I’m prejudiced lol

Nice Jeep! I reached out to Koons in Tysons as they're 20 minutes from me and they were not interested in making a deal. I ended up buying from Chapman in PA although I'm in VA. Ironic since you ordered from Koons in VA and you're in PA.

On that note, Chapman has been great. Anytime I ask for an update, I have it in minutes. Only thing I'm not looking forward to is getting there for pickup. I'm sure the drive home would make up for it.

Only contact I’ve had with my sales man is 2 days after I ordered I reached out asking for Von, other than that Radio silence. I’ll be 4 weeks in on Monday. And the only reason I had his email is because I built my Jeep online and saved the configuration and emailed it to him sitting next to him

I ordered with Chapman (@dealerinsider) and I’ve been in contact with them once a week. Once it was in D1 status they don’t know to much on what goes on so I was able to fill the gap the best I could via JeepChat. They’ve been very helpful so far to this point.
