Not sure on that. I do know custom orders do not go against dealer allocation though. I'm not sure if the whole payment thing would be so as they are getting jeeps in daily and they flip them right back out.Could it b based on the allocations that a dealership may have or not have for the month? So if a dealership only has 5 wrangler units and they order 6 would one be put on hold?
or if the dealership is behind on payments to Jeep those orders from that dealership get put on hold? It might be worth looking at your order with other wranglers from that same dealership and how fast or delayed they are for the dealer.
Doesn't a Sold Jeep go into production ahead of Wranglers that the dealer orders for the lot. Just thinking of what is the cause.
Sold jeeps/cust orders are supposed to be a priority above dealer orders yes, Jeep announced back in July that all dealer orders were on the back burn while cust orders had 1st pri. I do know the dealer I'm going with has not had a new wrangler on their lot since April as a stock order. Only ones they have received are cust orders. Last I was told for mine was the tow pack being the hold up but I have seen plenty of others after mine go out so not sure there. The last wranglers they got were a week ago and they had a 12 week wait also. When I ordered they were receiving them in 3 weeks but everywhere slowed down after that.
