Hi - I'm new to the forum so hi there. Thanks to everyone who has shared insight into this process. I did not place a new build and got lucky that my dealer had a Wrangler on order that was close to what I wanted so I went for it. The vehicle is in transit, however, the dealer can't seem to give any real updates on when it will be in and that's what I wanted to ask everyone here about. Is it always completely up in the air? I paid the deposit on April 7 and was told end of the month. I understand, and the dealer conveyed, the tracking site has been down but I've been told so many different things including that it was already on the way several weeks now (I'm in Los Angeles). The dealer shared a screenshot from early April with the code KZR (delivery in a few days) and yet it's not in. On April 21 he said it was en route to Mira Loma and yet no real news. He's also shared that they've recently received vehicles for cars that still say they were in Ohio and yet they've arrived, that it's all wacky. So... does this sound plausible? Is it really that ambiguous? Admittedly, I'm being a little impatient but I also find it hard to believe a big corporation doesn't know where their product is while in transit. Thanks for any insight!

Ouch, and I've been there for now 2 weeks and still nothing. Still in JB Status and haven't moved a bit. Guess I still got a few more weeks to wait at least.

Just passed the 2 week mark in JB myself. Hoping for an update in a couple (several, few?) days...

I am in the exact same (sinking?) boat as you. I am awaiting a '22 Willys 2dr that the dealer had on order. Deposit put down and it is SOLD as far as everyone involved is concerned. I do have the build sheet and the windows sticker with the build date at 0304. I've been told that it is sitting the next state over and waiting for "something" to complete it. What that is, I and my dealer have no clue. Of course, Jeep Care can not assist since it is a dealer inventory order. I am at 6 weeks and counting, while watching the Wranglers all over the roads enjoying themselves. You would think that, with $50k on the line, Jeep and my dealer would want to get this into my hands and take my money. But, what do I know...

Just a word of warning, when I eventually take delivery, I hope that I do not become too much of a bother as I begin my 'upgrading'. Plans have been in the works since I have nothing but time to dream.

So far, the wealth of knowledge here has been helpful beyond the extreme. Thanks for that!

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks for me at D1 also. Dealer shows shipping ETA of 5/11 so I was hoping for movement today. Time to buy another accessory to make me feel better..
My eta is 5/19 but I don’t see that happening because I have the XR package and mine is Gobi not even sure if Gobi has started yet?

I'm thinking of just waiting for my Sticker to show up on Crypto or really see that in my inbox, as I'm sure that will be faster than me randomly checking Crypto.
