My thought is I can have GDE flash my pcm 13x for the cost of a 2nd pcm.

Yup. According to GDE, since the EcoDiesel is limited to Gladiators, the software team at FCA has been disbanded so the Y81 update will be the last software update. Also my SGW is in my console and the SGW cables are connected to a Tazer.

Is that a good price? The Livernois I did a few years back was $700. This was an unlock, engine tune and trans tune. Which I thought was a good deal. An extra $300 seems stiff.

The $50 to unlock it would be OK if the dealer wrote over it. But then the dealer would know you have a tuned PCM and possibly void warranty.

you can always switch the tuned PCM back to the stock PCM before you take into the dealership I purchased the GDE tune this past December as they were offering ( I think ) 15% the whole month I am really happy with it it will get up and go and no more turbo lag etc plus the extra 300 is from shipping it to them same/next day and getting it back same/next day unless you have your orginal PCM you can toss into your rig and pay for the snail shipping to and from would be a lil cheaper
