your build looks great. how high are your fenders from the floor, measured at the center caps, with those aev springs? Im trying to get new springs but i have to get into parking garages and such... so every inch counts. thanks... love the rear bumper
Unfortunately out of town till 30th. I'll get you that measurement as soon as I am back.
I did measure the overall height after lift (I have a very low garage, i know the fear)
it was 77.4" (about 6' 6" clearance at the tallest point of the hard top)

I have parked in garages up to 6' 8 without any trouble so far. I did hesitate on one of the 6' 7 clearance garages purely out of caution. My tires are BFG KO2 37s - they run a bit smaller compared to other brands. If you run say a true 37 like Mickey thompson baja boss etc.. your rig might hover just around 6' 7"

Went in for re-torque appointment and had some fixes done to the lean i had.

Steering stabilizer relocation
Lean Fix
Fender to tire gap after fixes - with exactly half tank of gas

Front-Passenger: 8-1/4"
Front-Driver: 8-3/4"
Rear-Passenger: 8"
Rear-Driver: 8"

The front difference is sort of 0.5 inches - should be fine once my fat ass is in the driver seat and should be level at that point. The AEV front shim is about 0.375" thick, and I have only added a 0.25" shim. I might add a metalcloak 1/8" shim later on if needed. The jeep looks level and the lean is not noticeable now. If i measure from axle shaft to top of the spring perch the difference is even less - about 1/8" - may be the passenger fender sags as I lean on it a lot working on wiring near battery.
-------------

Alignment specs looks slightly better. I still think a bit more caster might help? perhaps adding the mopar lift LCAs (1/4" longer) might just be the right change. It did track straight after the lean is fixed.. there was zero pull to right side.

Do you have adjustable front lower control arms?

I'd want more caster. I mentioned earlier, I am at 5.5*.

his is close to mine and mine drives incredibly straight..no wander.. 1 finger steering at any speed.
I know they are all different but for me I would think it drives great.

It has tracked straight without any input after the lean fix and steering stabilizer relocation. I'm thinking not to mess with what's working well.
I was going to either get a set of adjustable front upper control arms from Clayton offroad or a set of LCAs from Mopar lift that are 1/4 longer. From forum posts of past its known that the LCA length increases by 1/4 for adding 1 degree of caster so that might be another option.

I seem to be taking a lot of inspiraition from your build :)
AEV 2.5" lift (standard) w/5100 shocks, AEV wheels (8.5" +25mm), 35x12.50R17 Nitto Recon. Venator bumper still in the box.
Next is to dupe your lights. :)

Took it to CAT scale before building up the rear platform. It's already 5180 Holy crap.. that is just all the build components so far plus rear cargo tray (40lb).

I might have only around 400lb to play with for rear platform camping gear and tent before it already crosses GVWR with just one passenger?
(assuming my models gvwr is 5,975 lbs)

Chase lights installed. I have wanted to do this for a very long time.
Used 2x KC Cyclone V2 amber lights and custom wiring. I did smoke tint on the cyclones as they were looking gaudy orange on the back of the jeep - now it looks slick and I didn't see a huge drop in brightness of the light.

Wiring Notes:
  • Used 20AWG 2 conductor thin wires for the outside wiring and routed them in the groove behind the rear window seals and brought them in behind the seals at the bottom right corner of the tail light glass window. If i dont do this and simply wire it back in like the rest of the window washer wires these will be pressed in between the seal and the window.
  • Once its inside, i ran a thick exterior rated 14AWG 2 conductor wire that I ran from the cabin to the passenger side tail light cavity and from there routed it on top of the frame all the way to the inside of the front passenger fenders - finally up to the auxbeam switch panel
  • I set the light to "pulse" when switched on - this is done on the app controller for auxbeam
