Do you wear a helmet when you drive? If I see stupid I call it out.
Selfish people who think it's their right not to utilize tools that make the road safer for us all.
You really are trying hard to avoid the simple fact that having mirrors on your Jeep is safe for those around you.Do you wear a helmet when you drive?
No? But you would be so much safer if you did.
Maybe that's too extreme of an example. If you ever drive when tired, eating food, talking on your phone, texting, talking to the passengers in the back seat etc, then you have no room to act superior to someone who runs without a side mirror when door less. It's quite apparent that you have never even tried going topless and doorless as the single rear view mirror is pretty capable of handling the task solo. Especially in a 2 dr.
There's no excuse needed officer, I'm within the vehicle code. We've all heard your warnings because you don't like our freedom, don't care. As Mr. Franklin said "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."Oh stop trying to rationalize driving without mirrors and making up stupid excuses. I guess we know who doesn’t use mirrors anyway, the same mindless people who look forward when backing up and the same people who change lanes in front of passing traffic and then maintain a slower speed. Sure, Karen, you’re a great driver, yep…
Deaf and you want to drive without mirrorsAs a cop you see minor mistake, I see it for the reality of what it is if the guy didn't have a badge. It's kidnaping innocent and free Americans at gunpoint even if it's temporary and you let them go with a "warning" for not doing anything illegal. In this particular instance the outcome was harmless. How many times does the innocent, law abiding citizen end up in cuffs, maybe even with a resisting charge as their only charge, after an unwarranted stop? There's a reason most states don't have stop and frisk laws. We deserve freedom and the expectation of innocence until there's reasonable suspicion. I've been pulled over because someone called on a vehicle like mine driving recklessly. Ended up with the cops gun pointed at my head because he decided to come up to the passenger's side and I'm deaf in my right ear. Leaning over to hear him looked to him like I was reaching under the seat? At least that's what he said after. None of that is OK. Even if it weren't some other white Ford, I wasn't driving recklessly when he saw me. He therefore had no reasonable suspicion that I did anything. His illegal stop almost got me killed. And for what? He can't ticket for a traffic offense he didn't see or have evidence of? No, I'm not OK with any forced interactions with armed and obviously scared tyrants under false pretenses. The risk isn't worth the reward.
How many six packs before typing this?Had a couple so I walked to the quick grab for a 6 pack. Walking back a patrol car passed me, spun around came directly at me and slammed on the brakes. 2 officers jumped out, gun drawn Hands on the hood, spread legs … “uhh, how fast was I going ?”… Shoved to the hood, the one that went behind me said “it’s a picture of Mickey Mouse” to the other. They apologized, “you fit the description of an escaped prisoner,
it looked like a P want a ride home”…..
“Nope !”

I could never do that. My aim is really bad. I was never able to write my name in the snow. Me and my pissy hands would have walked out after the first time. I can't think of a job worth pissy hands... and that spot on my jeans. I hope you didn't work in the food industry.
