My sister designs roundabouts. I complained to her once that they always put a bunch of crap in the middle of them - plants, fountains, etc, and it makes it hard to see. She said they actually do that on purpose so people slow down.

I love overgrown oleanders etc in the middle of the road. So the f’ing idjets can’t see the accident on the other side of the hwy and slam on the brakes ! causing massive backups for no damn reason, unless causing another accident/reason.
