Got a flashing coil light at 78000 miles and I am looking at going in and replacing them. Are they as difficult to replace as it looks? How easy is it to break them?

So the glow plug was covered under the PT warranty.

I went back to the RO and the labor time was not listed on my copy. Maybe 1.5 hours?

Is this what you saw when you had the glow plug light?

Are they really that hard to replace?? My Duramax was as easy to do as spark plugs on a 350.

That is a great question. I helped a friend and it was pretty easy on a Duramax.

I am seconding this question. Has anyone done the wrenching to change the glow plugs on an eco JL or JT?

Something like that. It would eventually start one the head warmed up. I lost number 5 so 4 and 6 worked and heated the head. My tech says that it’s not difficult but it doesn’t take much to break them off.

Trying to figure out if I have the same issue. This is what I'm seeing when I go to start, and I can't think of what else it might be? Is this what you saw?

Here's another thread where I go into more detail as well https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/are-my-glow-plug-s-bad.153779/#post-3178533

79,000 miles here and cylinder 4 glow plug is bad. Has anyone replaced theirs yet? May have to make an appointment at the dealer…
