I am also considering a Willys for the badass look and for the Rubicon shocks. Anybody has comments on this option?

Willys is an excellent package IMO. Gets you the rear LSD, which is great in snow, and looks badass.

Don’t expect those MTs to be very good in snow, though. But tires can be easily swapped.

Willys is a great trim package, has LED lights (may be problematic in snow) and the limited-slip/upgraded rear axle included; though you'll likely want to get some different winter tires. I would strongly consider the Selec-Trac full-time 4WD transfer case for winter roads, I believe it's available for most trims.

Since I live in Quebec, proper winters are mandatory. It's a law. So i'll pick up winter rubbers anyway.

Yes, it's available on all trims for the JL.

Proper winter tires are mandatory in Quebec anyway.

All right! So I went all-in.

Just ordered a 3,6L 6MT Sarge Green Willys and I checked about every option box you can check (yes, I took the LED lights, judge me).

Dealer rubbed his forehead saying it might take 6 months to get to the dealership. No problem, i'm a very patient man.

Hi there. Winter tires are mandatory in Quebec. Even if that's all I need, if there's no little mountains with a snowflake on the sidewall, i'm in for a 500 $CAN fine. No thank you. :)
Toyo AT3's do have the mountain snowflake. They seem to be pretty highly rated tires. BFG KO2, Goodyear Duratrac, General ATX, Falken AT3W, and those Toyo AT3's are the snowflake-rated all-terrain tires that seemed to stand out to me while I was shopping. I was limiting my search to AT tires that would allow me to avoid putting on chains at the mountain passes near me. I ended up with General ATX because they were a bit cheaper than the Toyo's and I don't have very severe weather around here.

You can probably see on my avatar, I put halogen aux lights at about headlight level on my bumper hoop. If my LEDs get snowed-in, my halogens will still give me -some- light. In my state, they are legal to use as long as they are aimed properly.

I ordered a green two door Willys manual v6 on 02/26/21. Dealer emailed me saying it was built and painted on 03/15/21. Waiting on delivery now. It may be sooner than the dealer claims.

Oh, for american customers, things are real quick. But for us Quebecers, well...not so much.
