I'm talking more of the window itself exploding in my face because of the shock. Don't try to make logical, I just fear this and I know it doesn't make total sense.
Oh, I agree with you: more than 145 000 $CAN for a vehicle is totally crazy for me as well. Especially for an EV: they're all struggling, Tesla aside, to keep their resale value. Which means it's money thrown by the window.
Oh, I know that. I know, man. But I can't help it. I just have Nam flashbacks (or flashforwards, in that case?) of my windshield flying back in my face. I just don't like the idea. :)
Off-road? All the time. It gives you great visibility and you can see where you're going be leaning forward over the wheel. I often find myself standing up, looking down in front of me, while managing the clutch and the gas pedal. Pretty fun.
On the road? I'm tempted to say "never in a million...
I really don't understand that 2DR/4DR/Glady debate. Just drive the rig that fits you, for whatever reason. Hey, it's the Freedom truck, folks: we should just all have the freedom to drive the Jeep we want and love.
You want me to admit something? Fine. I grabbed a 2DR simply because I know I...
Overall: if you don't have kids and you want to off-road, the 2DR's the best option.
If you still want to off-road but also have to be Super-Dad who drives everybody to soccer practice every now and then, you need the JLU.
If you need practicality and you need to carry large stuff like logs...
So do I. He "dies hard" his way through that white stuff like there's no tomorrow. Those studded Nordman 7 Nokian are simply amazing for these conditions.
Poor, poor man. We could say anything in this world to convince you not to do so, but you've done the worst thing you can do in this situation: test drive it. Now, you know. Now, you get it. And now, you want it. You're cursed, welcome to our world. And no, you'll never, ever, ever get away from...
My take: the JL's been one of the best daily drivers i've own, especially the 2DR. It's short and nimble, its handling is pretty impressive for what it is, it goes everywhere and anywhere (especially if you live in a snowy region during the winter, like mine) and the consumption is pretty good...
Oh yeah, you're right. I'm "not hard on the motor".
Ssssshhhh, let's just assume that's correct without talking about it ever again. :)
I AM A VERY GENTLE DRIVER, YES...Yes.
What? Don't make that face simply because I can't look at you right in the eyes when I make this very accurate AND very...
Hello, howdy, greetings, bonjour, top of'da mornin' to'ya,
So I just reached 3600 kilometers or so on the odometer (about 2200 miles) on my better than yours Sarge green Willys rig...and my oil life status says it's at 86 %. Now, correct me if i'm wrong but that's crazy high.
Is this simply...
Sure thing: Rivian is paving the way to electrification for off-roaders. They've shown it's more than possible.
Stellantis already said electrification is the next big step for Jeep, with the 4XE just being a step towards that direction. Can't wait to see what they have in store.
With the...
