Hi everyone,

My dreams have finally come true, I’ll be getting my JL within the next few weeks! :handsinair:
I’ve been browsing amazon and I want to get a few accessories/necessities. The jammock is number one on my list (lol). For now I’d like to keep the 17” tires but I want to swap out the rims. I’ve looked at a few sites, but I’d like some advice from you guys on where you get your rims/tires!

Thank you :like:

Tires and wheels are a personal opinion. For me, a 17" wheel (not tire) on a Wrangler gives it the "right look". Larger wheels, like the 20' or 22", etc., I just think "pimp mobile". Just my opinion. Not right. Not wrong. It's your Jeep, so give it the look you want!

Welcome and congrats! As mentioned, wheels are an intensely personal choice and personal tastes/how you use your Jeep are the primary factors in your decision. Im not a fan of large diameter wheels on a Jeep either, mine are 17” and 18” is about as large as I’d ever consider for the way I use mine. As far as buying tires, tirerack.com and discount tire.com are probably two of the largest, most well known, and least expensive options. I bought my current tires from @Northridge4x4 though because they had them in stock and at the best price with no tax and free shipping.

Congrats and enjoy your Jeep!

When I've purchased wheel/tire package, Tire Rack has been my go-to source. On another vehicle I had a tired go damaged (beyond repair) and decided to upgrade the wheels and tires. I ordered at 1:00 PM, the mounted (with TPMS sensors), balanced, and shipped same day. They arrived the following morning. Hard to beat their customer service.

For just tires Discount Tire (America's Tire out here) is my go-to source. Have always had excellent experiences with them as well.

There are lots of threads on here about wheel choices. Good luck!
