I went and got some .025” wire for these plates. Needed something a hair smaller than the .030” so can keep the heat lower.

Gonna see if I can get these b-pillars done today.

Got the plates welded up. Just got a little cleaning up to do in a few spots, but they turned really good. Fit is pretty nice. I could’ve done better, but I don’t have a lot of experience with metal down to .048”. Always learning stuff, which is half the fun.

My wife is a controller by trade (head of accounting department), she'll tell me about people being dicks at work. My response, "tell them to fuck off". Got around to chopping the passenger side B-pillar off. Turned out great. Nice and level. Gonna sand things down and get it welded up.

This one welded up better than the other side. I bumped my gas flow up 5cfm. It’ll turn out clean. Few pics to show the process below.
