Front mounted trail cam

Hello,
I am new here. I ordered my first Jeep Wrangler in March, on St. Patty's Day. 3 months later I am finally picking it up from the dealer in the morning. It's a 2022 JLU Rubicon. One of the options I got is the front mounted trail camera. I am wondering if it is possible to move the camera to a lower spot on the grille. Reason being is Í bought a mid-grille height brush bar to mount on the steel bumper. And concerned that the bar may actually block the veiw of the camera. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Let me know how's your rearview camera. I have the option to buy the exact same car with front and no front and want to make sure it isn't true the rear looks like cow dung when having both.

Yeah, there are people that say it's borderline unusable and others that swear by their mommas it's as good as the off road camera. Just curious how a brand new one comes out.

I have the TrailCam on my '22 with the Mopar bumper hoop, which just very slightly impedes the lower camera view- still very usable view. I've played with it now on a few technical trails and have found it somewhat useful, but still prefer looking out/using a spotter if needed. It's really helpful when cresting a steep climb, and you're unsure where the trail goes as you look at the sky. I will say that everything you see in the camera is a hell of a lot closer than it looks on the screen. The backup camera is one of the best I've seen- very high res IMHO.

I have both front and rear cameras and while the rear camera is also one the best I’ve ever seen I don’t bother using the front camera at all. I find that due to the wide angle viewing it makes it difficult to estimate distance to an object.

I have both on a ‘21 JLUR. Camera quality is great on both. I use both when backing into garage. Back to back in and front to know when to stop. I park as far forward as possible to avoid garage door hitting front bumper. Only negative I can say is the camera is in the way for any current available hood lock.

Also AEV sells a relocation bracket for their front bumper that has a fixed loop, non removable. To place camera out front of grill on loop. Something you might want to check out if you feel the need to move it. Not sure if can be or if anyone has used it for a non-AEV bumper. Enjoy your new Jeep.
