I need to replace my front bump stops. The originals have disintegrated to where I get an occasional loud clunk. I have a JLUR with NO lift. Obviously JL bump stops will work, but does anybody know if JK bump stops will work?

I found it. Yes they will fit. Looking at Quadratec's website, they list Mopar # 68480876AA, as fitting years 2007 to 2024.

If you're going to replace bump stops, I'd highly recommend Teraflex Progressive Bump Stops. They're not very expensive and are significantly better than OEM. Like night & day difference when you hit them and they're much more durable.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with a cheap OEM style replacement that I can, hopefully, install with only raising the vehicle,

My long term plan is to install a mild lift after my current tires wear out. When I install the lift, I will install a better bump stop.

Recently I added 1/2" bump strike pads both front and rear to keep the tires out of the fenders. I already have the Teraflex progressive bump stops in, do you think it's safe to take the strike pads back out?

You’re talking about the jounce bumper , or upper bump stop , right ? The rears are easy, can do it with bare hands, but the fronts I had to remove the spring….

Thats another reason I went with Metalcloak. They can be installed without removing the coil spring. Additional pads/pucks can also be added and/or removed as well.

For anyone on a budget: the front bumpstops are literally hockey pucks with a clearance hole drilled in the center. A stainless steel bolt washer and nut and you're in business. Amazon, a pack of 4 pucks was like $10.

Mine are MC, but I didn’t see a way to install them with the coil in place….Im talking about the upper jounce bumper, which is what OPs part number refers to….. I have pucks on the bottom, and yes they’re easily accessible with the spring in place……..

@Roky any thoughts on my question? think they still compress all the way down or no?

No they are about an inch longer compressed, you should be able to pull an inch puck out…

If anybody is discovering this in the future (op has found his solution) Durobumps makes a no-lift version if you just want a better/softer/more progressive bump stop than stock.

Can you help me understand how they justify $500 for a full set of OEM length bump stops? That seems crazy high unless I'm missing something...
