I had sorta been one of those ppl who think everyone getting smacked by rocks must be following big trucks too closely while flying down a highway. (My opinion changed while reading these forums a while ago.)
Yesterday, I got hit by a something. This thing seriously looked like it dropped from the sky. (I don't think it's the bug which makes a brief appearance before the damage in one of the videos.) Even though it doesn't matter, I'm very curious as to what hit me, and where it originated. Anyone want to make an educated guess based on these videos?
My best guess right now is it was from under the tire of a vehicle in the opposing lane. ?
Fwiw, it looks like it hit dead center at the bottom edge of the glass:
