Ok this is probably an extremely stupid question but hear me out.
Is there any way for a Fox Ats that ment for a JK be fitted to JL.

I found one for cheapish..and I am a fabricator. I just havnt seen how the JK mount compared to the JL.

Yes it can be made to fit.
I had one and ended up buying a new bolt from synergy that replaced the one for the trackbar and had a stud on the end and a screw to hold one end of the ATS and then bought a fox 1.5 clamp to go to my synergy tie rod and bolt the the ATS.
You just need to change the mounts that will work with your setup.

Buying the JK version is what everyone does when they want to relocate the stabilizer out of harms way……. There are several relocation brackets , synergy, MC, Clayton, steersmarts, etc…..,, here’s pic with synergy relocation kit…….

if you use the synergy kit, I recommend to switch the button head bolt out for a hex grade 8. The button head is stainless and the Allen head is easily stripped when removing it…..

I have what is pictured above on the top picture but with the JK version of the ATS (black and silver). Also make sure if you go to a nut or a hex bolt that you have clearance when you turn lock to lock. I did not have the room so ran with what is pictured up top.

@Roky I find your answers and pictures are very helpful, so thanks first!

I’m still running the factory tie rod which is the 1-5/8” clamp if I’ll get the Fox ATS steering stabilizer the JK version, and I’ll also need the track bar mount stud shown in your first picture, am I understanding this right?

BTW, your 2nd picture, have you replaced the Fox ATS with Exact Center steering stabilizer?

Hey man,
If you order the Fox ATS for JK , it will come with its own track bar bolt. So you won’t have to buy the synergy bolt separately…..here’s link…. Read the” Features & Details” down towards the bottom you see where they say track bar bolt is included……

I was running the EC, I did some testing for them when they came out…. When I switched to RK tie rod and drag link I had to make sure the Fox ATS was gonna work with them as well, and I’ve been too lazy to switch back…. I like them both, and they both work great……

Thanks for confirming and pointing out the track bar bolt is included!

Looks like many folks bought the JL version which comes with the FAD mounting bracket for the factory location. Some ended up buying the separate relocation bolt and clamp to move it up. The JK version seems to be a no brainer if still running the factory 1-5/8” tie Rod.

I’m still doing research on the steering components so dont want to just get the steering stabilizer.

Really appreciate your answers!
