Thank you for this information, being in Europe I doubt it is possible. I will contact Quadratec to see if they can help me with this problem.

I'll be back here for the rest.

Or go to a machine shop and have them mill out your new clamp, it doesnt need that much, even with the other clamp which I have it doesn't close even most of the way on the syneegy bar, theres quite a gap. All it really needs is the right angle ground on those clamp halves that it"ll sit properly on the bar and i'd bet that one would work.

I'm guessing you have access to a machine shop over there, the European countries ive been to had great machine shops, sometimes I wish I was there when I want something fabricated. Mom and pop machine shops are a dying thing in the US.

Steph - if you take the bolt to a bolt supply place they can help you. You live in a metric country so places like Obi or Jumbo won't have it; but a bolt place will.

When we lived in Switzerland we brought over a bunch of furniture and stuff. As expected the movers lost all the bolts/hardware for many of our things. It took a bit of efforts but we found everything locally.

Hello John,

Here I can actually find bolts in metric or inch.
The problem is that the head of the "black screw" is really very particular.

If "Quadratec" can't do anything for me, there are only two solutions left:

- buy the complete FOX ATS, but the freight and customs charges will add a lot to the final bill and I'll be left with a nearly new FOX ATS in my cellar.

- drill a hole on the "synergy" bracket on the other side (as suggested here), buy a tap (for one hole only) in inch, for this special screw.

I hope that "Quadratec" will be able to help me, cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing solution.

"Jumbo" ;)

Yes, but that head is not critical that it is a step like that. A countersunk Allen will work; like the attached. This is exactly what people are using for what you are trying to do. The screw will reuse your two o-rings.

I'll look into that idea, too. Alas, I'll have to lie back under the car to be able to dismantle what I installed yesterday, this to know the diameter and the type of "fine thread" of the "Synergy gold screw" so that I can find an equivalent here.

Or even better (for me), an idea of the measure of the "fine pitch" (of the golden screw) used by Synergy (probably in inch?), it would save me from disassembling the whole thing and I could just take the "black screw" as an example for the length?

According to the Synergy instructions it/s a 1/2-20 by 2 inch they include.

So ideally you find a 1/2-20 countersunk machine screw of the right length and you will be set.

Instructions are here for reference.

Here, I found a screw with the right thread that fits. Here we have a "specialist" (since 40-50 years) in "mm" and "inch" screws :like:

I bought two screws of two different lengths, in case I needed a longer length lying under my car.

In the end, I used the one that corresponded to the one I wanted to replace and which is 32 mm long (see photo).

The assembly is now finished (thanks to my son for his help to turn the steering wheel during the adjustments) I'm glad to be done.

Thanks to all of you for your good advice and your precious help.

So the big question..... how does it drive?

How do your neighbors feel about a Jeep in a land of German and French autos?

I used to laugh when I lived in St Gallen that they had a Cadillac dealer right next to BMW, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, etc. It was interesting that a Caddy was considered super prestigious to own.

As my Jeep passes by, passers-by seem to share its friendly look.

After that, a Wrangler isn't the Jeep model that sells a lot here. In the brand, it's more like "grand cherokee" for the rich "look" and according to the fashion of the moment in "certain neighborhoods" after it's a "Range Rover".

What is nice here is that there are so few Wranglers that every time we pass each other on the road, we make a "hand movement" or a "headlight call" and this practice has existed for many years, it was already practiced when I had my YJ (more than 20 years already, time flies).

Steersmarts has this bolt that works with Fox ATS stabilizers, but I'm not 100% sure if it is compatible with synergy's clamp. I thought I saw other members here who has that combo, and if so maybe one can confirm.

I ordered the steer smarts fox are bolt. Sounds like you know, do I just need to remove the bolt/black mount on the ats eyelet (reservoir side) and then use the SS fox bolt to fix that nicely to the top bracket half on the tie rod? I’ve heard of other just taking a vice or set of grips and an wrench to remove the stock mounting surface. Anything I’m missing here? Anything weird with the Steer smarts tire side relocation bracket?
