I took this behind the Gate gas station in World Golf Village. Perfect area to take some photos. You just have to hop a curb. Nobody seemed to care lol

I love St. Augustine, but unfortunately I live too far away, in Sarasota County, for a wrench party up there. Maybe we will meet on a trail ride! Are you going to Jeepin With Judd in about two weeks?

I’m sorry, brother. Being a crusty Sr. NCO, telling officers what they needed to hear and not what they wanted to hear, was the bane of my existence.

Folks don’t know just how much the military working environment is frequently a very hostile workplace, in and out of a combat zone.

Heh, I was a Plt Sgt for the last year and a half so I know how you feel. It was an officer heavy unit so I had to herd 2 Majors and 4 Captains around in addition to the enlisted.

Hey, thanks, Sean! Yeah, it took me a month to do all that. I should have it finished tomorrow. I still have the cigar lighter to finish deleting - I have the replacement usb outlets in I just have to wire them with 14 gauge wire. I also have to put the G Screen in to control the dual batteries and monitor the air system from the drivers seat.

I too was Plt. SGT for years, and an asset for battalion, brigade, and corps-level exercises/deployments. If I could have just “hid” at battery level, and trained/led my platoon without all of some of the other BS, life would have been simpler. It was very strange. I was loved by leadership at BDE and higher levels, until all of those leaders either died or retired, at which point the battalion haters took their toll on me.

It’s ok though, brother. I survived thirty years of that, got full retirement, full VA disability, and Social Security disability. Combined, I’m making in retirement the same as a one-star general does. I got the last laugh!?
