Florida Roll Call!

I might be there in my new Granite JLUR as well GunnersJL. Our Jeeps possibly took a train ride together down to Florida.

I have never been to this event...I do not want to scratch up my new Jeep the first month, are the trails clear of brush?

I've not been down to learn all this years trails yet. 10 total I think this year. In previous years you could ride nearly every trail scratch free as long as you didn't venture out of the ruts. We make an effort to clip off any limbs. We don't want to scratch our Jeeps either! You'll be fine.

That’s pretty cool! I don’t know much about Robert but Kyle has only been racing the IMSA Rolex series for about 3 seasons I believe, this being his fourth. I’m sure he raced elsewhere before hand but he’s pretty dang good for a younger dude. I’d be curious to know what circuit he originally started out racing. Very cool! Next time tell your Doc to hook us up lol They race in Sebring in March, just sayin..

For sure on the hook-up! My physical therapist was there and texted me, I didn’t know until then that the doc’s son was racing.

The IAMJAKE Jeep Jamboree was fun! Out of about 40 people that showed up, only 5 of us stayed for some night time trail riding and camping. Jake & his girlfriend weren't among the campers.
I'll post a video & pics when I get it edited! Until then, these will have to do...

The IAMJAKE Jeep Jamboree was fun! Out of about 40 people that showed up, only 5 of us stayed for some night time trail riding and camping. Jake & his girlfriend weren't among the campers.
I'll post a video & pics when I get it edited! Until then, these will have to do...

It's great that so many people were able to turnout for the event. Although, it's kinda of a bummer that Jake and others didn't stick around for the trail ride and camping. I guess it's tough during the week, when most of them likely had work in the morning.

It’s actully surprising that Jake didn’t stay for the camping.. I mean, isn’t YouTube and camping his job? Cool nonetheless I suppose!

Jake didn't seem to really be into being there for some reason. He broke out his table, sold his stuff, collected the food-drive food, hung out till dusk and then was on his way!
I enjoyed meeting everyone else!!!! Soooo many cool people there. You've heard the old saying, "There's always one A-hole in the group." Well, not this time. I've never been surrounded by so many cool folks in my life.
Jake's video is up, so head over to YouTube to watch it. You'll actually see my Stormie several times (especially her spare tire cover! TJ Waller Photography) and me with my GoPro on my head! Lol! There's a SICK 1970 red CJ that came! It was beautiful! You'll see quite a bit of it, too, in the video.

No, I won't be able to make the Jeepin' with Judd next month. So, whoever goes will have to share all their photos and videos!!!

Well, that's what I thought too! But as I mentioned above, he just didn't seem to be all that into it. But those of us who did stay HAD A BLAST!!! Holy crap it was so much fun. We did the nighttime trail riding around 8:30 or so, didn't pitch camp till about 10:00, didn't hit the sack till after midnight; then woke up, ate some breakfast and hit the trails AGAIN!

I know some sweet camping spots now in there, so if any of y'all can get some time off - especially during the week (weekends are always crowded; and even the remote sites are taken by hunters) we can have our own JL Jamboree!!!

I agree. Let's hope his new Girlfriend isn't turning him soft, by convincing him it's better to stay in a hotel.
