The front end definitely came down. Between the dual battery and the bumper, I think it came down about an inch.
One of these days, I'm going to put a 2.5" lift on it. With us full time in our RV for the past 2 years, there's always something else to spend any extra $ on.:like:

Edit: I'm adding a picture of when we first picked up our RV. You can see the Jeep doesn't sit level and the front end is lower
I like how you installed the plug and brake breakaway behind the bumper. Looks clean

you have a nice set up. If you have time could measure how high the mounting point on the bumper for the tow bar is from the ground. I have a class C and want to make it’s not gonna be to high once I install a 2.5 lift and 35’s.

I was towing behind a class c, so hitch was very low, with my lift, i had to use the base plate option to keep it within the spec blue ox stated. 15k miles no issue. I did pretty much make the RVi brake controller emergency only, or manual on thier screen, I never needed it.

And avoid gw bridge in NYC, horrible oscillation due to crap upkeep.

Another vote for RockHard4x4 aluminum bumper. Paired with Blue Ox aluminum tow bar and a Demco Stay n Play braking system. All over the west and mountain passes. Quick to connect/disconnect.

Im worried a bumper will make the connection point to high. I could get a Gen Y hitch and use it as a raise hitch. I don’t wanna have to run like a 10 inch raise hitch, I would rather get road master direct connect baseplate.

I use a RockJock base plate on my 2021 JLURD. They have setups for plastic and steel factory bumpers. 1000’s of miles without issues. Blue ox bar with ready brake.

Roadmaster direct connect baseplate mounts. Many years and thousands of miles. Barely noticeable when ends are removed. With the towbar connection under the bumper, no hitch riser is needed with my lifted Jeep.

I'm going to do this in a couple of years. That looks like a perfect setup for me. Would you be able to show some closeup pics of how it mounts under that bumper?

Thanks!

The best I've got. I shaved a little off the inside of the winch plate so it would fit in between the Roadmaster mounts which sandwich the frame. I use a Demco Stay-in-play brake, which is great. Previous Jeeps I used the RVI3, which was also great for a portable. The first pic you can see the inside of the Roadmaster direct connect mounts that capture the frame on both sides.
