When we had our motorhome, I started out putting our Jeep on an aluminum trailer. That turned into a pain as the coach was 38 ft long, then the trailer was 26 ft long and it just became a big pain in the butt to go anywhere or camp anywhere. My idea was wearing out trailer tires was way cheaper than wearing out Jeep tires.

Then I decided to flat tow it. I got about the same mileage with the coach flat towing or towing the Jeep on the trailer. I think the trailer even though adding about 1800 pounds pulled easier after getting up to speed.

We will probably end up with a coach again after the 2024 travel is done. Then buy a coach for 2025 travel.
