Wondering how this news from Jeep’s 2024 announcement affects folks’ thinking about ordering a manual.

The 2.0 seems like a good fit with its flatter torque curve.

You may very well be right, but it’s a major typo if so. The release says ”both“ engines “offer” the manual. Then again, this is Jeep we’re talking about here. Attention to detail is not exactly Job One.

Or it could be another version of the 98 Cherokee. The 5 speed was on restriction for most of the model year.

Kinda hope its also a typo that Etorque engines are the only options. You order the manual previously and the V6 you got was the old one with no Etorque. Really hope that carries over otherwise I think Im out on doing a new order.
