it was an autonation but it got sold it looks like. had 6,000 miles for 87k. Antway Due to the wrangler turning on its side in recent crash testing, stellantis just lost the entire soccer mom community. that is why we will see a redesign, not a restyle

Is your 392 an XR? The one I drove was not, and it was kick azz. The one I ordered is the XR, so the gears should more than overcome the size of those tires, meaning, it should be at least as quick or possibly a bit quicker.
Mine is an XR (well, my second one is). I have found that the XR with factory 35's is for sure quicker than my non XR with non factory 35's (obviously). But both were neck snapping.

I have a 2016 Mustang GT 5.0 Automatic with I think around 450HP. It has less gears than the Jeep Trans and is only rear wheel drive of course. It's fast, but not like this Jeep. My 392 can out accelerate the Mustang easily.

Have a friend who’s a GM at an exotic car reseller. He bought a 2.0 Jeep and had to replace the crappy engine not once, but twice. Even then it was a POS and he finally got it lemon-law’ed and they had to take it back. He’d been a long time Wrangler owner, with multIple units over years. Said he’d NEVER recommend that engine to anyone! So, to each his own. Buy what you like and can afford. Me, I love my ‘22 392XR. Not a single issue. I’ve owned many Jeeps, going back into the 70’s. This one is by far the best in every way. (Last few were also all Rubi 6’s; a ‘13, ‘15 and ‘19.)

Did you notice a difference on the non XR between the stock 33s and the 35s you installed?

I would rather it turn over, as that test crash Jeep did, than be crushed like a grape in a smaller low-rider wedge. Being a first responder, I have personally witnessed many crashes, of all varieties. A taller stance lends to tipping over (particularly if you are ignorant of its handling characteristics), as you are probably aware, however, it also lends to a better defense against other vehicles (or 400 pound deer) ending up coming through your windshield. The Admiral and I have both hit deer, as have many of our acquaintances (deer population is out of control here), yet no injuries were incurred.

Perhaps a few soccer moms look at government crash tests, who knows. Stellantis is ALL about the profits, so I doubt they are rushing to the drawing board.

Volvo made its mark on those crash tests. Plus there hasn’t been an apples to apples comparison wrangler vs bronco as the tires on the Bronco have always been bigger in the “internet” tests . Throw the Sasquatch vs the xr or a 392 w/ 37s and then we can have an idea of what’s going on instead of internet advice and advertising

Quite possibly the Bronco may do better re the tip issue. The tires stick out a foot on each side.

That’s probably why the Bronco v6 is selling for the same price as a 392

If anything, I see soccer moms trampling each other to get their hands on a Jeep Wrangler.

Definitely not. Maybe the selfish soccer moms u see on the Maury povich show are jumping at them. The majority of parents look for safety first.

Just look around: at least half of JLs driving anywhere have a soccer mom at the wheel.

Jeep was tipping last year too, few cared. The bigger safety issue is the lack of rear airbags and even that wasn't enough to stop the jl and jt sales juggernaut
