...ended up in my garage. I wasn’t planning on buying it but they had our exact spec, and the vehicle exceeded our lofty expectations. It rides great, looks sharp, and is super user-friendly. The turbo has plenty of power. Overall just really impressed. The wife loves it. She drove it home and was smiling the whole way.

We got a quote from an Idaho dealer via email while sitting at the dealer for $49,900 (MSRP $57,600) but Autonation went down to $51,000. Not having to go out of state was worth the extra $1,100.

Btw, this forum was invaluable in the process. Knowing what a good deal was, and knowing where to go to get it helped us during negotiations. Knowing what features we needed also helped, again thanks to the help from members of this forum.

Thanks guys!

Looks like Autonation Jeep West in Golden. I ordered mine there in September and took delivery in December. Thought my deal was fair as well and didn’t have to bother traveling out of state.

A few observations....

1. The turbo power is really good here in Colorado. I felt no turbo lag whatsoever.

2. The user controls are really well thought out. I was surprised how user friendly everything is. The combination of hard buttons and the touch screen really makes for a great user experience. I also liked how customizable screens are.

3. The material quality is surprisingly good. No, this isn’t a Lexus, but i think the materials used fit the intended use very well. It was better than i expected.

4. The Rubicon has almost a Swiss Army Knife feel to it. I don’t know if that makes sense, but it just has a lot of cool little features that just add up. I would say this vehicle has a lot of character.

5. The ride quality is surprisingly good and the handling is pretty sharp. This is a vehicle you can spend many hours in.

6. The overall feel of the Rubicon is that it is special. It is sort of an event to drive.

Well, those are my initial impressions and so far this Rubicon has exceeded my expectations. I get the allure of these thngs now.

@Robmypro ... So there's no problem. Nice going, and congratulations. If you didn't get one, grab yourself the yellow-pages-sized owner's manual (actually 600+ pages). PM Jeep Cares or give them a call.

So you'll have 2.. the physical copy, and this here forum.

So it begins. It is funny how something turns into a 50,000 dollar purchase.
No kidding. Lol

I was really surprised. They had the car, were super helpful, and negotiating was low pressure.

Got me to I stopped by the dealer in my 2015 JKU with 32000 miles on it in perfect condition and really didn’t need a new one Ended up test driving a new JLU with the 3.6 and I took out a 2.0 Ended up going with the 3.6 since I had no problems with my 2015 I’m not afraid of turbos since I had no problems with my 3.5 Ford F-150 ecoboost but the 3.6 is quite proven and I don’t know about the 2.0 I do know that Fiat does stand for fix it again Tony though Good luck with your new Jeep We love ours I got a great deal on the new one and all the money for my trade
