Wow-Very nice rig. You’ve just found yourself a supplemental income after retirement-I’d bet you could sell these puppies👍

Well thought out and nice workmanship! I like the camper style door and window you used. I built an off-road trailer with a rooftop tent atop it. But your air conditioning would sure be nice sometimes.

Very nice. Let the overlanding began. I have a little teardrop trailer and we love it. With ac you will be living the good life.
I pulled my AC off my teardrop camper and installed a Maxxfan. To use the AC, you are either bringing a generator with you or camping in a campground so you have power. Might as well pull a big camper if your doing those things.

I found that if you have a Maxxfan, that moves 900 cubic feet of air a minute, with a window cracked it is more than comfy on any given day.

. . . realizing each day–
Second the Maxxfan, which I think @workky has in this unit.

All the tear/square drop trailers concern me regarding the tongue weight. With ours (Hiker Trailer) I find it hard to balance the weight distribution well–

Maxxfan owner here as well. A/C is too much trouble. In all honesty I just limit my camping locations to seasons. Winter is desert, socal inland and socal coast camping. Summer I go for elevation or coastal locations.

Same. 5x8 mid range owner here. I have a trifold millard mattress so I fold it and get the heavy stuff right in front of the axle, and on the axle. Helps a lot with the weight distribution

Outstanding build! Great that you started with key requirements like queen bed, etc. it looks like you have a refrigerator so that plus the air conditioner requires shore power, correct? Or are you toting a generator? And I don’t see an issue with bringing a generator if that’s what you’re doing. I think it’s great.

WE do off grid quite a bit, so i have a small generator (2200 watts), that will run everything. Working on a shower now

you gotta do what you gotta do to sleep comfortable. In certain parts of the country it gets hot and humid and night. I wouldn't camp without AC either. Easy to say "you don't need AC" when you camp up north or in the west mountains during summer.
