Happy New Year! It’s time for new tires. I have a JLU Rubicon with a 2” lift. Moving from 33s to 35s … looking for some feedback on the Patagonia X/Ts… also considering Nitto Ridge Grapplers and the Toyo Open Country. I’m in FL so no major rock crawling just beach and trails. The Jeep sees mostly road driving. I would appreciate the group’s feedback. Thanks!

I have no complaints with my Toyo Open Country MT 35s on road or off.

WDE! I'm running the Kenda Klever AT2 and they're fantastic. Even put a set on my wife's truck which we just drove from Auburn up to VA and back for Christmas. They're excellent and a lot cheaper than all the other options. All the above options are excellent tires, but you should also look at these and the Cooper Discoverer AT3's. You probably won't go wrong with any of the tires listed so far. Good luck!

I have the toyo at3 and love them. I was a big cooper fan until I bought these and will stay with these.

I'm running the cooper discovery at3 XLT in 37's and I've been very happy with them. They took us all the way to Alaska and back this summer and do well on the highway. They do well in the snow (not a big issue for you! Lol) but also seems to do well in the wet too! I'd definitely give them a look.

The Patagonia fad came and went here. Most who have/had them wouldn’t buy another set.

There is another variable.

My new tyres are 30mm wider than the stock tyre. More rubber on the ground means better grip off road.

But on road, there is a minor penalty in fuel consumption. And when driving the tyres have a softness the old tyres did not have, probably due to the width.
