Can I get some advice concerning tires? I have a 22 JLU Rubbi diesel which I love. I recently put the Mopar lift on. I now want to get larger tires. I am looking at the KO2 in 35inch, but I am also looking at the Micky Thompson Baja Boss AT. Thoughts? I am looking for both on and off-road capabilities. I also do not want more noise than I already get from the stock KO2's. If you have any suggestions for other tires I am also open to suggestions.

Depends on what you mean by “off road.” Where are you thinking of going? What are the trails like?

Great question. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being for extremely modified jeeps). I normally range between a 6-8. This is my daily driver so I am not hitting the rock mogul trails. I do jeep jamborees and some local trails. I live in PA so I have options of all types around me.

I am in the market for tires as well. Awaiting word on when Nitto Recon Grappler will be available again in the size I am looking for.

The BFG run smaller than the rest. Sounds like you are looking for an AT tire.

I am currently running the Delium Terra Raider AT. It is slightly louder than the BFGs, however it is much more aggressive, grippier, and does really well in winter weather.

I can't offer any hands on experience with them, but the MT Baja Boss seems to get pretty good reviews. I'm interested in a set of the M/T's, which are just a slightly more aggressive tread pattern than the A/T's. Both versions are technically hybrids, having an overlapping A/T tread block pattern in the center and an M/T pattern on both edges. Aired up for the street, most of the vehicle weight is on the center, so noise shouldn't be high, but when aired down the side lugs will fully engage the ground.
