.... my buddy says they absolutely kill it in the snow.
I can confirm that. In N.E. Ohio we get a lot of snow (lake effect) so I've had them through plenty. They were on a Ram, so maybe a bit different than a Wrangler when it comes to handling/traction, but I would expect the Jeep will be the better of the two. Anyway, yes they are absolutely amazing in the snow and ice.

Yoko Goo3 285.75.17 are exceptionally quiet once you find the right pressure for pavement. I like that they stay inside the fender and are Perfect for the stock wheel size (they are easy to clean). I have just over 6k miles on them. They measure 34 even under load at 34 psi, and weigh 86# on stock wheels
Mud A
Sand B (still a bit skinny aired down)
Rain A
Snow ? Not likely in SLA
My only complaint is the tires “blue” when mud is not cleaned off.
