Looking to see if anyone has had FCA ship their Jeeps back to them. What was the process, how long did it take and what was communications like about the process with FCA?
My Jeep is currently repaired and sitting in the dealers shop in Nevada, I live 7 hours away in California. The jeep broke down on the way home from Utah and had to stay to get the motor replaced. It had under 6K on it.
The dealer to this day has been the star. But now that it is fixed and ready, the dealer is on the mercy of FCA. I have had contact with my case manager at FCA, but it hasn't been the most promising. She tells me things that she'll do but the not do them. The last was she told me she would get back to me by the end of her shift two days ago, and now she wont answer or return my emails or calls. Today I tried to get assistance from another FCA person, but was told all she could do was put a message for my case manager to call me back within 24 hours.
Last I herd was they were looking into ship it home, but nothing solid has been answered yet.
The dealer has not been contacted by FCA at all.
What I'm looking for is anyone that has experience with FCA shipping a vehicle back to them after warranty repair and what that looked like (i.e. time frame to get notice of shipping, Actual time to ship, Communication of vehicle shipping, how it was shipped, etc)
Thanks in advanced, I'm really starting to stress over this.
