Without getting into the whole story - Yes I experienced the Death Wobble, and prior to that to ensure I didn't experience it the dealer installed what I thought was the correct steering stabilizer (was the original as I found out later) and not recalled part different part number - FCA & Jeep Wave following along, finally installed new stabilizer and back on the highway no death wobble yet, but straight vibration coming from everywhere from 70mph and on and when you back off gas pedal etc … Also somewhat noted some wandering that was fixed (steering more stiff) after recalled stabilizer put in - however now more things happening -
1. Vibration at highway speeds
2. Body creeking sound at low speeds (not hardtop flex)
3. Auto start stop shuts off randomly or while sitting in park
So FCA calls today and ask what I want out of all this - I said a safe Jeep for my family on the highway and it FIXED!! And if its not fixed, A NEW JEEP! I have a love hate with her right now, and worried if I did any real off roading if the thing would even hold up!
Goes in Friday for possible final fix before a judgement call is made - according to FCA no other active recalls are out on my 19 Sahara
