Hey everyone,
I just purchased a 2018 Wrangler JLU with the 3.6 engine. I have noticed that my fan comes on after about 1-2 minutes of driving and stays on until I shut the Jeep off or turn of the air conditioning. The temp gauge never crosses the middle so it's not running hot. Is it normal for the fan to stay on while driving? I keep my air conditioning on "auto" and at 67 degrees and it's about 88 degrees outside. Any ideas?? Thanks

Yes, the fan has to run whenever the A/C is on. This is the case with every car.

Turn A/C on -> A/C builds up pressure -> fan reduces pressure

The hotter it is the more your fan will run. If it's like 72 out and you have it set at 70 the fan may cycle off from time to time as it isn't needed as much.
