I put Deutsch connectors on the 4 Aux switches under the hood and can easily move things around. My winch is run to a Stinger solenoid and triggered by Aux 1 …

The 4 aux wires under the hood are the same color as the wires under the dash.

...I may have completely miswired these. I have red and black to the battery using the ring cables. Then the switch wire to the Jeep AUX switch...

Black wire to GROUND. Red wire (FROM LIGHTS) to the corresponding aux switch wire. (THERE IS NO NEED TO USE THE SWITCH OR RELAY THAT CAME WITH THE LIGHTS)

NOTE: A winch will be different. you will wire it directly to the battery and probably want to use a (circuit breaker/ power interrupt or a relay and an AUX switch)

If your looking to wire in AUX switches but don't want the hassle of wiring under the dash etc. I would look into the Garmin PowerSwitch its controlled via bluetooth to your phone or other devices with a free Garmin app. I wired this into my buddy's Tacoma under the hood on a aluminum plate that I cut but, I do believe that you can purchase a mounting plate online. The Blue Sea blade fuse block is not really necessary I just installed it for neatness & easier connection for my buddy to install future accessories. I will be installing one on my JL when I purchase future accessories that need switching. I have the factory AUX switches which power up my accessory lights and all four are now taken. Here are a few parts I used.
