Evo Track Bar Frame Side Bushing

I have already replaced my frame side bushing on my EVO track bar twice and now it appears to be loose again. It moves back and forth on the frame side about a quarter inch. The bolt is tight and does not move so I'm pretty sure the mounting bracket is not ovalled out. Has anyone seen this issue with the EVO bushing? I was thinking of ordering the SYNERGY JL/JT FRONT TRACK BAR AND SECTOR SHAFT BRACE. Would this help remedy the bushings failing or should I just be grateful that its a $30 part and keep replacing it every 4-6 months.

The synergy brace would help if it was an oval hole issue , but not gonna help a failing bushing. I recommend ditching the EVO track bar, or just keep feeding it bushings….

My evo track bar did the same thing. Got a metal cloak with their brace and haven’t looked back

It's the only issue I've had with the lift. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I've never met someone that had major issues with EVO products

It starts with a slight vibration then gets worse. I check for loose bolts after every 4th offroading trip which is about every 2 weeks. For the front end just have someone get in and move the steering wheel back and forth and you will see what's loose.

Thanks, I was thinking of trying to film it with my phone. But that is a better method.

It's the only issue I've had with the lift. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I've never met someone that had major issues with EVO products

You should do a quick search for EVO on this forum. Lots of people with issues much bigger than yours.

Update.
3rd bushing has gone bad. I had already purchased a metal cloak track bar during one of their sales in preparation. Here are some comparison pictures. The track bar itself is smaller but the bushings on both ends look a lot beefier. More metal and less rubber. I’ll update again when/if it has issues.

You’ll be a lot happier with MC….. I’ve got a couple things EVO that’s holding up great, but I stopped dealing with them on suspension parts a long time ago…….

They are trash. I like their lifts. Track bar bushings are a joke. Installed synergy and haven’t had a single issue.

Add me to the list of people who have blown out a frame-side Evo track bar bushing sooner than one would expect. I decided to buy bushings for both ends for a single rebuild, and if one blows out again, I'll ditch the track bar for a different brand.

It's pretty disappointing how few wheeling trips the first bushing lasted.

I’m going to swap the bushings on the metal cloak track bar this weekend. 17 months they lasted. Which is way better then the EVO’s ever did.
