I was honestly expecting it in April. EOC’s lead time is around 3 months for the exhaust but was expecting longer due to their Black Friday sale. The exhaust is top notch and worth the wait though. Customer service was great as well.2.5 months! Damn that is a long time to wait.
I actually had the exact same thing happen to me. I think my order dates were about the same as yours. I decided to hold onto my tuned ECU though because per their instructions the value had to be at $50 to avoid the taxes (totally understandable). Bad luck seems to find me sometimes and didn’t want to risk it getting lost and getting paid $50 and trying to decide who’s replacing the $1500 ECU. They stated that they can actually load the patch on the original ECU so that the trans tune can be loaded to what I assume is the TCU. Once loaded the tuned ECM can be put back in. I’m not really sure I want to risk the OEM ECU getting lost either. Tough decisions I guess. My ECU was ordered 11/22 ---Delivered Dec. 14th
My Exhaust was ordered 11/19 ---Delivered Feb. 13th
Had to send back the ECU as they had to add a patch to it in order to allow use of the PG4 Trans tuner. Unfortunately, I received mine about a week before they switched to the PG4. Ordered Trans Tune on Feb. 13th and I just got notification that it is being prepared to ship on Feb. 14th.
Gregj,My friends buddies cousin ordered mid August and received them first week of November, there were many vacation days in Canada in that time frame.
Gregj
I was trying to keep up with that but I guess there’s probably enough internet evidence somewhere to get me.Gregj,
Are you sure it wasn't your friend's buddie's cousin's neighbor? Sorry. I couldn't resist.![]()
Have you or are you planning to test/run the new ECU prior to installing the exhaust? Just curious if you received instructions directly from EOC. The email I ordered everything from is having some serious issues and was trying to avoid clogging their inbox if not needed. I’ve read that the OEM exhaust can be left in place but wasn’t sure about all the electrical connections On the exhaust and EGR plate. My ECU was ordered 11/22 ---Delivered Dec. 14th

You should plug in the ECU and test it before you pull the exhaust, they specifically say NOT to drive it with the factory exhaust in place. Just start it up and make sure it runs and doesn’t have any lights in the dash, particularly the red security light. Which muffler did you put on?To me, the straight pipe sounds decent at lower revs, but has that V6 raspiness past 2,500 rpms.. Went this way for a month before installing a muffler that brought it back to stock noise levels. Noticed no discernable difference in power before or after.
3.5hrs and they had me on the roadI think I’m going to drive over there in a month or two and get some Stage 2 goodness. Hit up Epic Adventure Outfitters while I’m there, make a good trip out of it.
