I filled up with premium the other day. 15 gallons. Difference was 8 bucks over regular

It’s not that much higher.
In your area. Up here, 15 gallons of premium is $12-18 more than 15 gallons of regular. I filled up with premium on sunday, cost me just short of $75!!

You're in driving distance of Philly I bet, that's like two decent handies in an upper middle class suburb. You can make that back in no time. Just make sure to pack some O'Keeffe's Working Hands.

392s ain’t free of issues either. I work in auto salvage. 392s sell basically immediately, as well as 3.6s. I hardly see 2.0ts going out the door. Obviously that doesnt mean one’s better than the other but it’s pretty easy to tell what gets replaced more often, likely due to sheer numbers on the road

Subaru engines and transmissions. Doesn’t matter what
Honda 1.5t engine
Nissan CVTs, we can’t inventory them fast enough
mopar transmissions. Mostly 3.6 and hemi engines leaving both 6.4 and 5.7. We also do a LOT of charger/challenger rear diffs.
GM transmissions and ecotec engines
Ford 10 speeds and 2.7L and 3.5 ecoboosts
Any kia/hyundai drivetrain. Can’t inventory fast enough.

just what I see leaving, daily.
This is the most unique perspective that I've seen on all of these threads. Thanks for sharing!

Again, I can afford it. That's not the point.

Wow! And here I thought Temu California (Vermont) would be the most expensive. I just got back from filling up with premium and it was $63. Happy to pay it to keep my little green Jeep running well.

Side tangent, what's the sex life equivalent of the absolutely fucked state of PA's highways? I don't think I've been through PA once where it wasn't just torn up, shitty road after torn up, shitty road. Whether tore up because of construction or tore up because fuck it we don't wanna do construction. I always longed to hit the NY/MD/WV border and finally get on some decent roads.

This is why I tell people to just buy what you want and enjoy it. Because if you go off what the internet says, it’ll be the worst decision you’ve ever made. But also because, nobody can build anything quality anymore. Not even Toyota.
