Check those threads I linked there are a bunch of pictures. I can go show you the one I just did the other day on our new used ecodiesel. I failed the first time I tried on a new fuel filler neck I bought. I straight up mangled it.So has anybody on here actually removed the discriminator from there EcoDiesel Wrangler?
If so can I get a photo from you of what your fuel input port/filler neck looks like now from the outside???
Then I tried on the one that came with our 2020 and it popped right out. The one I just did on this 2022 was in their tight like the first one I did. Only reason I didn't break the shit out of it was I had a little experience. As it stands I did chip an edge and then I filed it down to clean it up some.
The way it's removed in that video looks totally legit. it'd still be nice to have a spare to mess with first, but as I mentioned that doesn't always work out anyways.
