Was running Berdoo canyon road yesterday and got to that one spot where 4 lo was needed. I had been running AWD the rest or the time aired down with the swaybar disconnected. Slowed to 3mph, put the trans in neutral and pulled the lever to 4-lo. Done it many times on this trip with no problems.
When I popped it in, the engine did a quick Rev then back to normal. Tried to put it back in drive and got the flashing D on the dash. Tried to go to park and got "vehicle speed too high for park". By this time, I had been sitting still with my foot on the brake trying to get into drive.
Put it in neutral and turned it off. Put it in park and started it back up with no problems. Later that evening, got the CEL on the dash and a not so good email from my Jeep. Logged into the Mopar site, but no specific info. Searched this forum and found that the fanciest Jeep I've ever owned won't tell me any fault codes. Planning a trip to Autozone today and there's a Jeep dealer nearby, but asking the group if it has happened to anyone else. Maybe an ABS or wheel speed sensor gone bad?
