Ecodiesel Filters

I was just trying to find the general consensus on where to buy all 4 filters for the 3.0 Diesel. Mine is a 21 and wanted to stock up on the Air, Fuel, Cabin and Engine. I seen a company called Doc's Diesel that had all of them for $100 and a Labor Day Sale. Just trying to get a newbie steered in the right direction,

Hi. I started buying the oil and fuel filters from Docs diesel
And the cabin filter I’m going to buy it from Afe engineering. They are washable

i like different filters for different things; never even occurred to me that i might find any one source that would make the best of all the disparate filters i want.

There are lots of threads discussing the various filters. That being said, there are not too many aftermarket filters that seem to be as good as the OEM filters. You can save a few bucks with the Doc’s filters, but some members have reported that they seem cheap in quality. You can find the OEM filters on Amazon and eBay for much better prices than the dealer. Nothing on the diesel engine is cheap to repair, so I would be careful using cheap filters (especially fuel and engine oil).

I’ve used both Mopar and Doc’s for oil and fuel. I don’t mind either one. If I can find a good deal on Mopar I’ll get it, otherwise I’m going Doc’s. Air filter I usually just smack on the ground a bunch and throw it back in. Never changed a cabin filter in my life, can’t help you with those two.

I haven't used this source in a while, as I usually stock up a few years worth of filters. But they always seem to be pretty good on price. I'd check elsewhere of course, but never had any issues with these guys.

I've been using docs for all my filters and I have had good results.

They are made in China but docs tests all their filters.

for Air, Oil and Fuel i don't screw around, and use Mopar from wherever i find them cheapest.
(i tried K&N for Air in the past, and the high amounts of Silicon that showed up in my Use Oil Analysis were terrifying. never again!)

because of Asthma in the family, i try to go upscale a bit for the Cabin Air Filter. i've used these in a few vehicles and they seem to keep things nice inside.
