Has anyone used the E-Torque battery for aux. power, say fridge.
I know it is 430WH or 35AH in size and will have to convert it to 12V.

unless you are out of warranty, I would stay far away from the 48v system.

Interesting that no one seems to know about this setup.

I have 2 x 12v 100ah LiFePo batteries in the back compartment under the floor that I charge from the main with a DC-DC charger. IMO this is a better way to go.

I'm a dealership tech and know more than I would like to know about etorque, that's why I ordered a non-etorque 3.6 lol

What is it that you know about this E-Torque?
Again just looking at it from the technician side of things, there is A LOT more parts in the way when you are working on the engine, you also have two other cooling systems (for the battery and one for the Etorque motor), coolant hoses, coolant pumps ect. as long as the vehicle is under warranty it is great and you don't have to work on it. But out of warranty I can see Etorque repairs getting extremely costly for customers. It is just a added cost and complexity I wouldn't add if I had the choice. Now I know Jeep pretty much force owners to have Etorque from 2021-2023 but it still doesn't make it any more fun to work on.
