Your High Schooler gets itFinally, there is an advantage to losing my hair! "Jeep scalp don't care!"
We had a similar experience. Last week it finally was sunny and dry an in the low 60's so I took off the freedom top and front doors. My wife and I and 10 yr old daughter were about freezing to death by the time we got to our destination 20 mins later. But it didn't bother the teenagers (what does other than school, chores and other teenagers?). This week it hit 70. OK temp wise to drive in topless, getting a little warm when sitting still for long periods in traffic. I too was surprised at some of the cross winds even when driving 45 mph but like someone said, I'm hoping it lightens up a bit when I get the rest of the top and rear doors off this weekend. When it is cold or very windy, I just try to drive slower and take route with lesser speed limits.
When I picked up the high schooler yesterday, he said, "Doesn't matter how bad a day it was. Being picked up in the Jeep makes it all better!"![]()
My wife loves her Alien Shade, it really cuts the sun down and allows light and air to flow. You install it and forget it, you don't have to keep taking it off.
