I know this says for "doors off" driving, but either the description or the picture is off as that mount in the picture is to mount on the doorsThoughts?

I’m betting these will be the top option. Great find. These just showed up on quadratec site. Anyone have experience with a mirror like this on previous Jeeps?

Thanks, I've been watching Quadratec and had not yet seen that one! It looks promising for sure. These just showed up on quadratec site. Anyone have experience with a mirror like this on previous Jeeps?

Can't wait for someone to get these installed and report on the quality! Unfortunately, I don't even know when I'll receive my 2.0T at this point, so I'm a horrible candidate to give the first review, lol. Thanks, I've been watching Quadratec and had not yet seen that one! It looks promising for sure.
I just looked at the installation guide. Definitely meant for the doors, not doors off.Thoughts?

That’s what it looked like to me also, thanks for confirmingI just looked at the installation guide. Definitely meant for the doors, not doors off.
I had the rugged ridge rectangle ones for JKU. Kinda liked them over the circular ones. Hoping they come out with that type again. Thanks, I've been watching Quadratec and had not yet seen that one! It looks promising for sure.
These are probably for the tubular doors.I just looked at the installation guide. Definitely meant for the doors, not doors off.
On second look, the product description on that moparonlineparts.com States they are for doorless driving. I would hope mopar tubular doors come with the mirror shown although the descriptions for those don’t state as much. These are probably for the tubular doors.
But the way it shows them attaching seems to be on the doorOn second look, the product description on that moparonlineparts.com States they are for doorless driving. I would hope mopar tubular doors come with the mirror shown although the descriptions for those don’t state as much.
Thanks, that's what I have, I am hoping they fit my JL, but they wobbled so badly they were barely useful.I had the rugged ridge rectangle ones for JKU. Kinda liked them over the circular ones. Hoping they come out with that type again.
I was thinking of building something like this. After looking at foot pegs that go on the bottom hinges and how they have a bracket that pushes up against the body so it doesn’t rotate, don’t think it would be hard to take a set of the hinge mirrors and weld a piece of metal onto them that would go to the inside of the door frame to prevent them from rotating from the wind. If I ever get my JL (was supposed to be delivered today), and I get a set of mirrors, will try it and post pics on here.Has anyone tried the Steinjager mirrors: https://steinjager.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=43908

They look like the "poly insert" slides down over the hinge, which would make aligning them during each install much easier, I would think, maybe even require no adjustments (every other hinge mount I have tried, or even removable bracket mount, requires adjustment). Can't find any reviews, but a few comments for the JK version did seem to indicate the passenger side mirrors are blocked by the dashboard.
I would love to hear if anyone has tried them. Thanks!
