Okay seeing the new 2026 line, ive noticed they have eliminated the bolts. Just a guide pin. So here's my question. I own a 2020. Do I still need the bolts ? Just install guide pins on my doors ? Any thoughts on this ?

if your talking about the bolt that goes on the bottom of the door hinge that holds the door on, I've removed every single one on every jeep I've owned, from my old CJ to my current gladiator and JL.

The bolts on the bottom of the pin? You don't need them. I take them out and left them out on all my wranglers

If you never take your doors off, leave them. There’s no disadvantage. If you take your doors off, you’ll save some time if you don’t put them back. It’s really up to you.

I took mine out permanently. It saves time taking the Jeep apart for clear days.

Leave mine off for easier door removal when weather gets nice.
