Does the jeep wave include the Gladiator too?

So i drive a 18 jl, n the jeep wave is cool but i sometimes wave back at what i think is another wrangler comin my way but as it passes i see the truck bed n im like oh damn, i thought the wave was only amongst wranglers. Is there like an etiquette for that or what? Just curious is all.

Never understood not waving to Gladiators. It’s literally a Wrangler with a truck bed.

Absolutely - Jeep essentially offers the wrangler in small, medium, or large. The gladiator is just a JLU with a bed attached essentially. Solid axle Jeep = wave.

We have no choice, because like the op said, we think we're waving at a JL until the bed becomes obvious.

I don’t much care for the Gladiator, but I still wave. Not that I care, but I have noticed that the majority of Galdiator drivers don’t wave back.

Me too. I wouldn't give up my Wrangler for one, but it would sure be nice to have as an addition.

Hell, I nearly wave at Liberties half the time.

And yeah, I rarely get a wave back from a gladiator. Oh well.

I wave at them also but it is my experience they know nothing about the Jeep wave and limited amounts of waving back.

1. You can't, unless they couldn't get out of reverse backing out of the driveway. Lol
2. Towing and haul capacity. And as mentioned above, they better serve individuals who are willing to trade departure angle for all amenity camping without a trailer.
