The service station I go to says I’m tip top, just got the 20k inspection done. They diagnosed my 2013 JKUR issues correctly in 2020/21, good guys. They service all our vehicles (2017 Corolla, 2017 BMW 440i, and our two Jeeps.

Here's your problem. Although it sounds normal to me, I'm not there. So if you take it in it'll come down to several factors as to what happens next. Do you trust your service writer? If so, have them listen. What can happen then depends on their honesty and if they have techs that can fit in warranty work. It's under warranty so take it in. Customer states ticking or knocking noise from engine. I hope it's normal.

That sounds exactly like mine (@16k) if I open the hood and stick my face in it. Also very much depends on engine temp and battery charge state, the alternator can be the third loudest thingy in there behind the fans and the injectors. If it starts sounding that loud from two feet away with the hood closed, you should start worrying then.

They should ask you if it sounds different when driving, cold vs. warm, starting or all the time, etc.

They all sound like that...2021 Ruby and 2024 Willys...3.6 engine on both
