Just got my Jeep back from the dealership they replaced camshafts and rockers on both sides of the engine.
I haven’t had my Jeep for 6 months does this still sound odd or just a normal pentestar sound.
What’s a foolproof way to know it’s not the dreaded tick. Video below

You'll need to post a video or something so we can hear it. If they replaced everything then I'm sure it's fine.

A 3.6 is a noisy, clattery engine on a good day, especially after a cold start.

Maybe I just got lucky, but both our Jeeps with the 3.6 ('21, '23) have no real mechanical noise cold start or warm. No lifter tic or other mechanical noise. My 23 is the best Jeep I've owned out of 6.

Yes the rhythmic knock
Mine has the same bs. Was told normal with a shrug. See if it only starts making the noise after the engine is completely warm. If so it’s just like mine.

After it runs for awhile it’s actually lessens and it’s rhythmic so it doesn’t get louder which makes me think regular engine noise.
